The Microsot Certified Solution Developer The Microsoft Certified Solution Developer is a kind of credential attached to professionals and passers who design and develop leading edge business solutions using high class and ungraded tools such as the following: Microsoft development tools and technologies, Microsoft platforms and the Microsoft Window's architecture.
The MCSD short for the Microsoft Certified Solution Developer is considered as a top level Microsoft.NET credential. Not all computer engineers and computer science or IT professionals may possess this credential. This certification is only for advanced developers who are into designing and developing leading edge enterprise solutions using the Microsoft.NET Framework 1.0 and Microsoft Framework 1.1 as well as the other Microsoft development tools and technologies.
Requirements to Obtain a Certification as an MCSD
To become a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, the candidate must pass a total of four comprehensive core exams and one elective exam. The core examinations are tests designed to evaluate the technical proficiency and level of expertise in maintaining and developing enterprise applications that are based on Microsoft development tools and technologies, as mentioned above, and the platforms on both Microsoft.NET Framework 1.0 andMicrosoft.NET Framework 1.1. On the other hand, the elective examination is designed to evaluate specific skills or expertise on a specific Microsoft server product. Each exam is not free. It costs around a hundred and twenty five ($125) U.S. dollars each.
There is also a required number of years of experience before he will be allowed to take the core and the elective examinations for this specific Microsoft certification. The candidate must possess a minimum of two (2) years of working experience in developing and maintaining solutions and applications using the .NET frameworks.
After getting certified as an MCSD, re-certification is not at all necessary. However, in cases that some of the exams were modified and redesigned, the MCSD must pass the so -called replacement examinations to maintain the title or the designation.
