How To Get Certified As A Certified Scuba Diver ( PADI )

If you have been thinking about getting into diving, you will want to get your own certification to do it professionally. You can do this locally if you have a dive club close to you. We will be talking about the basic certifications here.
The first level of scuba diving certification to achieve is the PADI open water level. This is level where you begin to learn the scuba "code". They have specific wordings to their trade, like many others, and you will need to learn what they mean. There are five sections to get familiar with. If you are not yet a member of a diving club, now would be a good time to get hooked up with those you would like to be diving with.
Lessons for the first part of your certification can be accomplished online. PADI itself offers online lessons to start you off on the right foot or flipper, as the case may be. After learning the basics, you will be going to your real world experiences, with tanks and other gear. Scuba lessons will be next. You will be required to demonstrate your swimming abilities. You will want to experience your "first breath" underwater. You will also be learning how to deal with the pressures that diving deep will give your body. If you do not want to go out in a lake or other large body of water, you can use a pool instead. These are called confined dives. You will be able to finish this level in about three or four days.
The next level of certification is the Advanaced Open Water grade. This level has the introduction to underwater navigation, diving deeper into the water, and adventure dives. Your navigation skills will be learning kick-cycles, time and visible markers. You will learn more about your underwater compass. You will have your choice of fifteen "adventure dives" that should prove to be exciting event.
To take this course a person must be at least fifteen years old.
The last step for certification is get your TDI Nitrox Diver level. This step is going to take you deeper down into the water and give you more education on nitrogen protocols. The difference in this level of certification is that is more for business than for fun. Recreational diving is considered to be for pleasure. This level of diving is thought of as technical diving. The TDI courses and certification involve diving caves and caverns. This level will be the one for entering advanced wrecks. You will learn how to mix gases, especially nitrox.
The best thing about diving is the wonder and visual effects of being in another world that few will ever see. You will be experiencing a virtual weightless and alien environment to humans. Your certifications will allow you to enjoy these and pass your experiences on to your friends and family. Imagine if everyone got their scuba dive certification !
