Job Overview Journalism teachers are academicians of both the secondary schools and post graduate colleges. Skills and Abilities
One cannot teach if he/she has no competency in or in the skills involved in the subject of choice. A good journalistic writing skills is therefore a prerequisite. In addition, skills in communication and interpersonal skills will enable him/her to relay the knowledge to the students he/she is handling. Creativity in the many teaching and learning activities is needed. A strong passion to mentor subordinates is a plus factor in being an academician.
